Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is Rush?
Rush is a week in which we feature events that relate to the purposes of the sorority. Rush is non-obligatory, and is simply a way for you to get to know the ladies of Kappa Chapter better and to discover what we stand for. You are welcomed to attend as many events as you like and we hope by the end you better understand the girls and goals of the organization

Of course! Our sorority was founded on helping serve and unite the Latine community , however, any encourage any to join. We are Latine-based, but NOT Latine exclusive.

4. How is Alpha Pi Sigma different from the Panhellenic sororities?
Our organization differs largely from these organization.
-
Firstly is our size. Although our membership fluctuates, we tend to have a small number of active sisters (usually not surprising 10 girls) ensuring that we build a true sisterhood and really get to know everyone in the chapter (and girls at other chapters).
-
Secondly, because we are a Latine-based sorority we have a cultural motive tied to our organization. From helping the Latine community though volunteer work to having events that showcase Latine culture, we hope our members better understand and appreciate the latino community.
-
Finally, our membership dues are affordable allowing girls from all types of economic backgrounds to join our organization (no one has ever had to drop the organization due to cost)
